Congratulations to Kelly Zuc who was Best in Trial and achieved the only qualifying score.
Most of us have a lot of work to do on our heeling, especially getting our dogs to do good and consistent sits, as well as the Sit and Down stays.
Special thanks to our judges Keith and Michael.
LURE COURSING FUN DAYS
We have organised another Lure Day on June 28th 2009 - See PDF Form (79KB)
We have held Lure Coursing Days at the Obedience grounds on two past occasions.
SEE HOW MUCH FUN WE HAVE >>>>
What is Lure Coursing?
The equipment used is quite simple and consists of 300 metres of fishing line strung around several pulleys set into the ground to form the course. A plastic bag is tied to the line and is powered around the pulleys by a battery operated motor. The operator can stop the lure at anytime and can change direction as well.
Lure coursing gives your dog the opportunity to do what comes naturally...to chase, sniff the ground, jump, pivot and chase again!!!
Your dog will love it and you will enjoy watching your special friend do it too. Everyone has a ball.
If you are interested in having more of these events please contact Mrs Sylvia Whiteside to register your interest.
